Charles Vanderwerf

Charlie K. Vanderwerf, 72, of Mission, Kansas, passed away May 3, 2013.

Charlie worked as an electrician and was a member of IBEW Local #124 for 45 years. He was avid hunter, fisher, and all around outdoorsman.

Charlie was preceded in death by his son William Vanderwerf. He is survived by his wife of 49 years Jackie; children, Lori, Kirk, Beth, Butch, and David; 14 grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; and sisters Margaret and Betty.

A memorial visitation will be from 6:00-8:00 p.m., Tuesday, May 7, 2013, at the Amos Family Funeral Home and Crematory. Military honors will follow.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Heartland Hospice.
