Charlotte Huttie, 87, of Lenexa, passed away Wednesday, August 24, 2011, at the Kansas City Hospice House. Charlotte was born November 27, 1923, to the late William and Katherine Paxton in Otterville, Missouri.
On December 4, 1943, she married Gene R. Huttie. He preceded her in death on October 27, 2000, after 56 years of marriage. Charlotte received her Bachelor's Degree in Education from the University of Missouri-Kansas City. She worked for the Shawnee Mission School District as an elementary school art teacher after receiving her degree.
Charlotte is survived by her daughter, Barbara Jean Anderson and husband David; son Stan Lee Huttie and wife Diane; her significant other Al Rueb; 6 grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren.
Memorial Service
A Celebration of Charlotte's Life will be 2:00 p.m., Sunday, August 28, 2011, at the Amos Family Chapel of Shawnee.
