Cheryl D. Priddy, 66, of Shawnee, KS, entered into Heaven October 23, 2014 at her residence. Cheryl was born August 20, 1948 in Kansas City, Kansas to Floyd and Marguerite Priddy. Cheryl loved the outdoors and to travel. She and Karen had visited many of the beautiful states and parks camping in their travel trailer. Her favorite place to visit was Hawaii and her second favorite was anyplace by the ocean. When we look at the roles Cheryl played in our lives, we see many. We know that she was a dear sister who cared deeply for her brother and sisters. We also know that she was a caring and loving aunt who helped raise her nieces, nephews, and grandchildren. She was also a great friend having many who know her from the K-Mart store she worked at for 39 years until her retirement. Cheryl was also known as caring, loving and faithful partner to Karen. She is survived by her partner, Karen Penland of the home, sisters; Peggy Nitchals of Leavenworth, Kansas, Janet Scraggs of Shawnee, Kansas, and her brother Larry Priddy of Shawnee, Kansas. Cheryl was preceded in death by her parents, sister, Patricia Griffin.

Services

There will be a graveside service held at Aubry Cemetery at 191st and Old Metcalf at 11 AM, Tuesday, October 28, 2014 with a celebration of Life lunch following at Countryside Christian Church at 6101 Nall Ave, Mission, Kansas.
