Chester Noel Rawie

Chester Noel Rawie, 88, passed away April 30th, 2021 in Surprise, Arizona. He was born May 22nd, 1932 in Stanley, Kansas to Homer and Ellen (Morgan) Rawie.
A visitation will be held on Saturday, May 15th, 2021 from 1 to 2 p.m. at the Amos Family Funeral Home in Shawnee, Kansas. Followed by a memorial service at 2 p.m. also at the funeral home.
Noel (as he liked to be called) retired from the Air Force in 1981. He enjoyed bowling, golf and other activities such as fishing and boating. Probably his favorite past time was sitting on the back porch drinking coffee and visiting with neighbors as they passed by.
Chester was preceded in death by his parents Homer and Ellen Rawie; 2 brothers; Raymond Rawie & Donald “Cork” Rawie.
He is survived by his wife of 49 years Carolyn Rawie; 2 sons; Jeff Rawie and wife Stephanie & Robert Rawie. 2 grandchildren; Kylie Noble and husband Aaron, Brandy Spencer and husband Donald. 3 great-grandsons. As well as numerous nieces & nephews.
