Christina Dimitt

On Sunday, January 29th, 2023, Christina Dimitt, our beloved daughter passed away at the age of 47 after a brief stay at in Shawnee Mission hospital.

Christina was born on July 28, 1975 in Garden City, Kansas to Larry & Linda (Reinert) Patterson. She was a graduate of Shawnee Mission West High School. Soon after graduation, she married Mike Santoyo. They had one child, Joseph, who was stillborn. They divorced soon after that.

Tina was a friend to just about anyone in need and had a very giving nature. She enjoyed playing games and visiting with her friends. She also enjoyed spending time with her close friend and caregiver Boby Rogers.

Christina is preceded in death by her father, Larry, her son, Joseph, grandfathers Leslie Reinert, Jim Dimitt, and Clarence Schwindt,  grandparents Glen and Louise Patterson, aunts Sherry Finlay and Nancy Hannon. She was survived by her parents Linda and Robert Schwindt, sister Kimberly Dimitt/Boyles and husband Keith, adoptive father Paul Dimitt and wife Gean, Grandmothers  June Reinert, Frances Schwindt and multiple nieces, nephews, cousins, aunts and uncles.

A Celebration of Life will be held on February 8th in Lenexa, Kansas.
