Claudia Reeves Weatherford, 91, Lenexa, KS (formerly of Terrell, TX) passed away April 8, 2014 at the Kansas City Hospice House, Kansas City, MO.

Claudia was born Feb. 9, 1923 in Hunt County, TX to James Owen and Linnie Dyson Reeves. She graduated from Terrell High School in 1942. She was a valued administrative assistant and office manager for companies in Dallas, TX, Denver, CO and Terrell, TX. She was a (former) member of Good Shepherd Episcopal Church and a current member of St. Michael and All Angels Episcopal Church, Mission, KS. She was a passionate reader and one of her greatest joys in life was time spent traveling. She was a devoted mother and she will be greatly missed by family and friends.

Claudia was preceded in death by her parents; brother, Charles Woody Reeves; and sister, Mary Helen Cacas. She is survived by her daughter, Susan Weatherford, Roeland Park, KS; nieces, Cindy Gregg, Tracy Shamblin, Tona Moore and Alison Medlen; and nephews, Augustus Griffith and Clay Cacas.
