Clint William Dillon

Clint William Dillon, 54, of Shawnee, Kansas, passed away on Tuesday, November 20, 2012.

Clint had a unique gift for bringing together an eclectic mix of folks who would otherwise never have met one another. Once you became his friend (which took as long as five minutes), you were a friend for life. Clint was a long-time season ticket holder and fan of the Kansas City Chiefs. He was an avid camper and loved canoeing the White River. Clint enjoyed trips on his motorcycle or in his truck with his dog, Gracie.

Clint was preceded in death by his mother, Carol Dillon. He is survived by his father, William (Bill) Dillon of Arthur, Illinois; sister, Calene Kohn of Windsor, Illinois; brother, Brett Dillon, of Hesston, Kansas; his long-time girlfriend, Cheri White and her daughters Shawna and Jessica of Overland Park, Kansas; and 1 niece and 3 nephews.

Visitation will be from 2-4 pm, Sat., Dec. 1, 2012, with a memorial service to follow at 4 pm, at the Amos Family Funeral Home & Crematory.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the American Heart Association or Great Plains SPCA in Merriam, Kansas.
