Colleen Ann Underwood

Colleen Ann Underwood, 91, Shawnee, KS passed away at her home on April 30, 2018.

Colleen was born June 1, 1926 to Oscar and Madge Nelson in Deerwood, MN. She attended nursing school, St. Paul, MN where she met her husband, Eugene Underwood. She was a registered nurse with KU Med. Ctr. For 25 years, retiring in 1988.

Colleen was preceded in death by her husband, Eugene in 1997 and son, Eugene Underwood, Jr. in 2000. Survivors include her daughter, Diana (Jeff) Francis, Olathe, KS; three grandchildren, Adrienne Zinn, Travis Underwood and Elizabeth Underwood; and nine great grandchildren.

Graveside services will be 12:00 p.m. Saturday, May 5, 2018 at the Shawnee Mission Memory Gardens. Visitation will be 10:30-11:30 a.m. Saturday at the Amos Family Funeral Home.
