Connie Reel Vandenabeele

Connie R. VanDenabeele passed away on November 24, 2023 at her home in Lenexa, Kansas, after a battle with cancer. Her visitation will be held on December 9, 2023 from 2:00-3:00 p.m. with a memorial service to immediately follow at Amos Family Funeral Home, 10901 Johnson Drive, Shawnee, Kansas 66203.

Connie was born on November 6th,1957 in Kansas City, Missouri.  She is preceded in death by her parents, Bill and Peggy Reel; son, Sean Kennedy; and brother, Billy.

She is survived by her husband, Mike VanDenabeele; daughter, Angela (Dale) Welloch; her two grandchildren, Alayna and Anthony Welloch; stepdaughter, Missy Vandenabeele; her siblings, Thelma, Kathy, Cindy, Jason; brother-in-law, Dennis; sister-in-law, Linda; along many nieces, nephews, greats, and friends.

She loved her family, going to taco Tuesdays, giving people a hard time and most of all, going to the Lake of the Ozarks and boating with friends and family.

Connie will be greatly missed.
