Constance Yvonne Klein, 87, of Shawnee passed away Saturday, August 21, 2021 at her home.
Visitation will be 11:30 to 12:30 p.m. Tuesday, August 24, 2021 at the Amos Family Funeral Home. Mass of Christian Burial will follow at 1 p.m. Tuesday, at St. Joseph Catholic Church. She will be laid to rest in St. Joseph Cemetery immediately following the service. The family suggests memorial contributions in lieu of flowers be made to the Sisters, Servants of Mary; 800 N. 18th Street; Kansas City, KS 66102 or to Olathe Hospice House, 15310 S. Marion; Olathe, KS 66061.
Connie was born October 3, 1933 to the late Lloyd and Eloise Rosner in Lenexa, KS. She graduated from St. Joseph High School in 1951 where she was a cheerleader. On September 6, 1952 Connie was married to James Klein, he survives of the home. James J. and Connie owned several businesses including Jim’s Mini Mart in Shawnee and A-OK Burger in Lenexa for many years. She also was a licensed realtor for over 27 years. Connie was a lifetime member of St. Joseph Catholic Church.
She is preceded in death by her parents, two brothers, Johnny Rosner and Tony Rosner. Connie is survived by her husband of 69 years, James J. Klein; her children, Steve Klein and wife Maggie; Julie Klein; Jim Klein; John Klein and wife Stacey; Matthew Klein and wife Ange; Christine Klein; 7 grandchildren, Shawn Klein; Megan Klein; Jeremy Klein and wife Sara; Lloyd Klein; Andrew Klein; Erik Klein; Joshua Klein; 2 granddogs, Lilly Klein and Tom Klein; three great grandchildren, Christian Klein; Ryleigh Klein; Joseph Klein; a brother, Mike Rosner and wife Ramona; brother in law, Raymond Klein and sisters in law, Helen Dobbelaere; Trudy Rosner and Vickie Rosner and Nancy Klein.
