Constance J. Schleicher

Constance J. (Connie) Schleicher, 80, Olathe, Kansas, passed away Friday, June 10, 2011, at Villa St. Francis in Olathe.

Connie was preceded in death by her parents James and Cecelia (Connelly) McLaury, one son David, and three brothers Jim, Bob and John McLaury. Survivors include two daughters Jill (Steve) Haesemeyer, Merriam, Kansas and Joy (Dirk) Haegert, Americus, Kansas; one son Charles (Paula) Schleicher, Lenexa, Kansas; one sister Joyce, Kellerman, Fairway, Kansas; three sisters-in-law Esther McLaury, Overland Park, Kansas, Donna McLaury, Kansas City, Missouri, and Mary McLaury, Kansas City, Missouri; five grandchildren David (Katie) Schleicher, Shawnee, Kansas, Eric Schleicher, Lenexa, Kansas, Janna Haegert, Merriam, Kansas, Jason Haegert, Americus, Kansas, and Chris Haesemeyer, Merriam, Kansas; and two great-grandchildren Ethan and Gracie Schleicher.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to charity of donor's choice.

Visitation and Funeral Service

Visitation will be 5-7:00 p.m., Sunday, June 12, 2011, at the Amos Family Chapel of Shawnee where a Rosary will be recited at 5: 00 p.m. Mass of Christian Burial will be 10:00 a.m., Monday, June 13, 2011, at St. Joseph Catholic Church with burial to follow in Resurrection Cemetery.
