Corina M. Vaughn, 77, of Shawnee, passed away Monday, August 17, 2015 at her home surrounded by her loving family.

Corina was born May 12, 1938 to the late Glenn Ellis and Cora Mae Ashford in Claremore, Oklahoma. She married Everett Vaughn on September 10, 1955 in Joplin, MO. When she was younger, Corina enjoyed oil painting in her free time. She was a 50 year member of ESA-Zeta Epsilon Chapter sorority; and an active member of Westside Family Church for over 30 years.

Corina was a dedicated wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother. She is survived by her loving husband of 59 years, Everett; two daughters, Susanne Renee Vaughn (Don Hankins); Michelle Lee Pritchard (Bill Sanning); two grandchildren, Jamie Nicole Lanaman; Jeremy Ryan Taylor (Paola); five great grandchildren, Zachary Squier; Danielle Lanaman; Taylor Lanaman; Beana Taylor and Jackson Taylor.

Visitation and Services

A Celebration of Corina's life will be 2 p.m. Friday, August 21 at the Amos Family Funeral Home. The family will receive friends one hour prior to services.
