Corliss A. Marriott

Corliss A. Marriott, 58, of Merriam, Kansas, passed away April 19, 2011.

She was born October 23, 1952 in Kansas City, Missouri, to James and Jeane (Leslie) Harley. She graduated from Shawnee Mission West High School in 1971. Corliss was united in marriage to her husband of 40 years, Bob Marriott. Together they had four children. They also owned and operated Marriott Appliance Service for 22 years. Later she was a Home Economist for several appliance manufacturers.

Corliss is survived by her husband Bob; children, Melissa Strunk (Brenden), Tina Yount (Doug), Rob Marriott, and Angela Nielsen (Greg); and six grandchildren, Cassie, Nicholas, Robby, Samantha, Hunter, and A.J.

Corliss will be deeply missed by her loving family, friends and wiener dogs, Bonbon and Chifle.

Visitation and Funeral Service

A visitation will be held from 6-8 p.m., Monday, April 25, 2011, at the Amos Family Chapel of Shawnee. A Mass will be 1:00 pm, Tuesday, April 26, 2011, at the St. Joseph Catholic Church, Shawnee, Kansas, with burial following in Resurrection Cemetery, Lenexa, Kansas.
