Craig Helm, 49, of Lenexa, Kansas passed away September 23, 2014 at his residence. Craig was born November 15, 1964 in KCMO to David and Sharon Helm. Craig grew up in KCK, and graduated from Turner High School in 1983. He excelled in field and track, and softball. Craig served in the US Navy from the years of 1985-1989 stationed aboard the USS Longbeach. He didn't always say a lot, but when he did everyone stopped and listened; it was either meaningful or funny or both. Craig was a friend of Bill W. for 23 years. Craig is survived by his loving wife Becky, son, Chris Rupard; sister, DeeAnn Helm (Bert Williams), and brothers; Ron (Barb) and Jim Helm, many nieces and nephews. Craig was preceded in death by his brother, Bryan Helm and niece, Aimee Fletcher.

Services

A Visitation has been scheduled for 6:00 - 8:00 PM, Sunday, September 28, 2014 at the Amos Family Funeral Home. A Funeral Service has been scheduled for 10:00 AM, Monday, September 29, 2014 at the Amos Family Funeral Home. Burial will take place at Shawnee Mission Memory Gardens.
