Craig Alan Peterson

Craig Alan Peterson, 63, of Overland Park, passed away Tuesday, November 6, 2012, at the Kansas City Hospice House.

Craig was born July 31, 1949, to the late Edwin and Roberta Peterson in Staten Island, New York. Craig attended Fair Lawn High School in Fair Lawn, New Jersey, and graduated from University of Tampa with a Bachelor‘s Degree in Business Administration in 1971. On October 18, 1975, he married Diane Gill in Ho-Ho-Kus, New Jersey. Craig spent his professional career as a manufacturer's representative in the building products industry with Johns Manville and later TAMKO Building Products. He retired after 26 years with TAMKO in 2010.

Craig is preceded in death by his parents and sister, Janet Lemiska. He is survived by his loving wife of 37 years, Diane; his three sons, Kevin Peterson, Eric Peterson and wife Melissa, Michael Peterson and wife Christine; a sister, Claudia Gruber, four grandchildren, and numerous nieces and nephews.

A celebration of Craig's life will be held at 10 a.m., Saturday, November 17, 2012, at the Amos Family Funeral Home and Crematory. The family will receive friends immediately following the service.
