Curtis Lynn Boyer

Curtis L. Boyer, 53, of Olathe, went to be with his heavenly Father, Wednesday, June 5, 2013 at Olathe Medical Center surrounded by his loving family.

Curtis was born July 22, 1959, to Daniel Boyer and Betty Boyer Ritz in Neodesha, Kansas. Curtis owned and operated C & S Construction for over ten years. He was a true craftsman and enjoyed finishing homes all around the Metro area. Curtis was an active member of the Lenexa Christian Center. His true passion was Jesus Christ, and shared that love with everyone he came in contact with. He enjoyed watching his boys play baseball and served as a role model to his sons and their friends. He enjoyed spending time at the Lake of the Ozarks making memories with his family and friends.

Curtis leaves behind his sons, Curtis Shane Boyer and Sheldon Bryan Boyer; father, Daniel Boyer; mother, Betty Ritz and husband Robert; brothers, Michael Boyer and wife Kelly and Scott Ritz and wife Tammy; sister, Sherry Aguirre and husband Mark; five nieces, three nephews, and numerous other aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends.

A Celebration of Curtis's life will be 3 p.m. Friday, June 7, 2013, at the Amos Family Funeral Home and Crematory. The family will receive friends following the service.
