Curtis John Fitzsimmons, M.D.

Curtis J. FitzSimmons, 50, passed away on December 29th, 2017 in Kansas City, MO.  He was born on March 4th, 1967 in Evanston, IL to Bob and Jan FitzSimmons.  Curtis went on to earn his M.D. at KU Medical Center and graduated in 1993.  He became a Board Certified Infectious Disease physician working at Plaza Infectious Disease.  He married his wife, Laura, on August 13th. 1994 and they grew to raise three children, Brian, Connor and Nolan.  Curtis is survived by his wife; three sons; parents; brothers, Clark (Noelle) and Blake (Jean).

Visitation to be held on Friday, January 12th from 6:00-8:00 PM at The Amos Family Funeral Home, 10901 Johnson Dr., Shawnee, KS 66203.  Memorial service to be held on Saturday, January 13th at 11:00 AM at Village Presbyterian Church, 6641 Mission Rd, Prairie Village, KS 66208.
