Dale D. Leshovsky, 84, Olathe, KS (formerly of Prairie Village, KS) passed away Wednesday, July 12, 2017, at the Good Samaritan Society, Olathe, KS.

Dale was born May 25, 1933, in Minneapolis, MN to Chester and Hazel Leshovsky. He was a graduate of Roosevelt High School. He was involved with sports as a player and coach. Dale was very proud of his service in the military and served under President Eisenhower at the White House. He was assistant distribution manager for the H.D. Lee Co. for 37 years. Family was always foremost in importance for Dale, especially his wife, Carol, to whom he was married for 58 years.

Dale was preceded in death by his wife, Carol on November 28, 2014. He is survived by five children: DeAnn Swofford and husband Mark; Steve Leshovsky and wife Stephanie; Cathy McLindsay and husband Brian; David Leshovsky and wife Kris; Lynn Williams and husband Charles; sister, Dolores and Ray Henry; two brothers, Chester and Jean Leshovsky, Jr. and Richard and Pat Leshovsky and 14 grandchildren, Kristen, Morgan, Aaron, Steve, Christopher, Haley, Becky, Courtney, Logan, Hunter, Alyssa, Conner, Lindsey, Alison and many dear friends.

Funeral Mass will be 9:00 a.m. Saturday, July 22nd at the St. Paul's Catholic Church, 900 S. Honeysuckle, Olathe, KS 66061.

The family suggests memorial contributions be made to the American Heart Association, 6800 W. 93rd St., Overland Park, KS 66212.
