Dan E. Kice, 77, of Overland Park, Kansas, passed away peacefully on February 25, 2016 at Kansas City Hospice House. He was born in 1938 in Wichita, KS, He was preceded in death by his parents Frank “Zip” and Julia Kice, Dee W. and Janie Southern his Parents in Law. Dan graduated with a B.A. in Accounting from University of Wichita. Surviving are his Wife of 53 years, Dee, Daughter, Brenda, Son, Brian and Daughter in Law Stephanie. He was Papa to 3 grandchildren, Emily, Joseph, and Channing. He was Uncle Dan to Cal Dee, Janie, Becky and Semi. Dan loved spending time with his family, was an avid fisherman, and spent much time coaching his children in sports, leading Boy Scouts and enjoying jazz.
