Daniel Rollheiser

October 14, 1941 — August 4, 2017

Daniel Rollheiser of Shawnee, 75, died unexpectedly on August 4th.  He was born October 14, 1941 in Kansas City, KS and lived in the Kansas City area most of his life.  Dan served in the US Army Reserves for six years. He was a talented general contractor and enjoyed sharing his skilled trade with others.  He loved time near the ocean and fondly remembered his younger years when he lived in parts of southern California.  He loved fishing, enjoyed outdoor activities, but more than anything, time with family.  In his later years, Dan’s faith grew deeply through the Church of God.  His beautiful love and devotion to the heavenly Father was an example to us all. Our hearts are broken for the loss we are feeling now, but we know we must let him go.  We will miss him dearly but why cry for a soul who has been set free?  Dan was a caring husband to his wife Nancy Jackson Rollheiser of 52 years, and a loving father to his four children: Amie Sauvan (Jeff), son Daniel, Katie Howe (Brian), Beth Jordan (Tony), six very special grandchildren and one great granddaughter.  We will always treasure his love for us, hold tight to many precious memories and remember his generous spirit and wonderful sense of humor.

At Dan's request, private services will be held with the immediate family.
