Daniel F. Yuran

Daniel F. Yuran, 74, passed away on August 13, 2022 at his home surrounded by his family.

He was born on February 10, 1948 to John and Mary Yuran in Kansas City, Kansas. He attended Ward High, and was a veteran of the Army from 1969-1970.

After the military, Dan bought a body shop in Kansas City, KS that was successful for many years. He enjoyed collecting and restoring classic cars, Chevelles being his favorite. He was a member of the Mid America Chevelle Club, and was president for several years. Dan enjoyed traveling with his family, going to many national parks, with the Colorado Rockies being an annual fall trip.

He is preceded in death by his parents. Dan is survived by his wife Janice (Caples) Yuran; children Elizabeth, Jeff, and Jenny; grandchildren Hayli, Logan, Taylor, Presley, Jillian, Colton, and Reagan; brother John Yuran and many friends and family members who will miss Dan greatly.

A celebration of life will be held in honor of Dan at a later date.

In memory of Dan, the family suggests memorial contributions be made to the Alzheimer's Association .
