Danielle Auchard

Danielle was born on December 15, 1988, in San Diego, CA and grew up in Fresno and Lakewood, CA before moving to Kansas in 2012.

While caring for her father through heart surgeries and a heart transplant, Danielle entered the Licensed Massage Therapist program at Wellspring School of Allied Health in 2019. With a few months left in her training she had her first epileptic seizure. She went through surgeries and rehab for three years. She then entered the program again while working and caring for her recovering father.

She graduated from Wellspring and then passed the MBLEx National Licensure Exam to become a Licensed Massage Therapist (LMT). She was recently hired by MassageLuXe in Overland Park and on Tuesday, April 16, the day before her passing, she worked with her first clients and received very nice compliments thus fulfilling her dream. While we wished she would have been able to be with us longer, the family takes comfort is knowing that she was follower of Lord Jesus and will be waiting for us now in Heaven.

Seeing the benefit in organ donation that her father received, Danielle signed up to be an organ donor and encouraged others to become organ donors. Midwest Transplant Network in Westwood, KS reported that multiple people will now benefit from Danielle’s loving gift.

Danielle was an extremely sweet person and loved having dogs and cats in the family home. Her primary love although was her nephews and niece. She loved being their Auntie Danielle. She was constantly looking for ways to bring them joy, through thoughtful gifts or taking them on adventures with her.

Danielle is survived by his sister Sara Johnson and her husband Steven, her nephews Malachi and Red, and her niece Emerson; as well as her father Roger Auchard, and her cat Rosebud.

Danielle’s celebration of life service will be on Saturday, April 26, 2025, at 10:00 am at the Amos Family Funeral Home, 10901 Johnson Dr., Shawnee, KS. Dress is very casual as that was Danielle’s style. To honor her, people are encouraged to wear purple as that was Danielle’s favorite color.

In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made to Danielle’s memorial fund to help with funeral costs. The preferred method is through Venmo using @DaniellesMemorialFund. An alternate gofundme.com site has been set up and can be found using Danielle Auchard in the search field. Her picture will then show up.

After the service a light lunch will be served at Amos Funeral Home and then a graveside service will be conducted at Pleasant View Cemetery, 6025 Quivira Rd, Shawnee KS.
