Darin Brent Jupe

Darin Brent Jupe, 40, child of God, husband and father, passed away following a battle against cancer on April 12, 2010. He was a resident of Olathe, Kansas.

Darin Jupe was a successful Sales Account Executive at SKC Communications where he loved his career and colleagues. He was also self-employed with his own professional disc jockey company called KCDJ that provided music for weddings, parties and events. Darin loved sports, cars and the outdoors. He was an exceptional golfer and avid hunter. His passion focused on restoring a classic Ford Mustang to its previous glory.

Darin was preceded in death by his birth mother, Sharon Richardson Jupe. He is survived by a wife, Nicole; son, Carter Jupe; father, Jim Jupe; mother, Ruth Ann Unruh; two brothers, Brian Jupe and Ben Courtright; and sister, Shawna Jupe Atteberry.

The family requests that in lieu of flowers, contributions be made to the Carter Gerrit Jupe Scholarship Fund, C/O Premier Bank, 15301 W. 87th St. Pkwy., Lenexa, KS 66219, a fund to extend Darin's legacy to the education of his only son.

Celebration of Life Services

A Celebration of Life service for Darin Jupe will be held at Southminster Presbyterian Church in Prairie Village, Kansas on Monday, April 19 at 10:00 a.m.
