Darrell Max Burdick

Darrell Max Burdick, 74, of Overland Park, KS passed away Monday, Jan 2, 2017 at his home. Max was born January 25, 1942 to the late Jesse and Mary Burdick in Clinton, Oklahoma. He served in the United States Air Force during Vietnam and was honorably discharged in 1965. After military service, Max worked for Burlington Northern Railroad as a Switchman for 35 years before retiring. He is survived by his loving wife of 54 years, Olive F. Burdick; two daughters, Sara Sander; Jennifer Watson; four brothers, Jesse Burdick; Mike Burdick; Lanny Burdick; Joe Burdick; and six grandchildren, Matthew, Evan, Ben, Ashlyn, Brandon and Dylan.

Funeral services will be Thursday, Jan 5th at 11:00 am at Abundant Life Church, 12400 Antioch Rd. Family will receive friends one hour prior to services at the church. Burial will follow at Leavenworth National Cemetery.
