Darrell Carl Morgan

Darrell Carl Morgan, 67, Shawnee, Kansas, passed away Thursday, December 9, 2010, at his home.

Darrell was born August 14, 1943 in Armourdale, Kansas, to Joseph Carl and Betty (Williams) Morgan. He was baptized Christian at the age of 12. Darrell was employed with General Motors from 1977-1993 and was a member of the UAW.

Darrell was preceded in death by his father and grandson, Joshua Morgan. Survivors include his wife, Saundra (Riley) Morgan; mother, Betty Swenson, Basehor, Kansas; two daughters, Julee Whim, Shawnee, Kansas and Michelle Boyer and husband, Steve, Paola, Kansas; son, Justin Morgan and wife, Marianne, Shawnee, Kansas; two sisters, Judy Bray, Tonganoxie, Kansas and Jan Kulild, Shawnee, Kansas; brother, Ray Morgan, Jarbalo, Kansas; and seven grandchildren.

Visitation and Funeral Service

Visitation will be from 2-4 pm, Sunday, December 12, 2010, at Amos Family Chapel of Shawnee. Funeral services will be 10:00 am, Monday, December 13, 2010, at the chapel; burial in the St. Joseph Cemetery.
