David E. Cashman, 58, of Kansas City, KS passed away Dec. 2, 2014. He was born Dec. 22, 1955 in Kansas City, KS to Samuel E. and Mary Reschke Cashman. He attended South Park Elementary, where he joined the Boy Scout Troop #90 and remained a member through his time at Hocker Grove Junior High. At this time David was also awarded Citizen of the Year. He graduated from Shawnee Mission Northwest High School in 1974. He attended Kansas State University for two years then transferred to Pittsburg State University where he earned his degree in Auto Technology. He continued to attend Pitt State where he was on the Dean's List, earning his Master's Degree in Business Administration. He began working as the Service Manager for K-Mart Automotive in Topeka, KS and transferred to Omaha. David moved back to Kansas City and began work with SAMS in Gladstone, MO as their Automotive Service Manager until his passing. David was preceded in death by his father Samuel E. Cashman in 1998. He is survived by his mother Mary Cashman, Brothers; Bill (Roxie) Cashman of Shawnee, KS and Mark Cashman of Austin, TX, sister Elizabeth Cashman Ludwig of Graniteville, VT along with a niece and nephews.

Visitation & Mass

A visitation will be held Friday from 10 to 11 am at St. Joseph Catholic Church, Shawnee, KS. Mass will follow at 11 AM also at the church. Burial will be in Resurrection Cemetery, Lenexa, KS.
