David Joseph Hosch

June 25, 1982 — July 5, 2021

On Monday, July 5, 2021, David Joseph Hosch, son, uncle, brother and pet lover passed away suddenly at the age of 39.

David will be forever remembered by his mom Linda (Fred) Lindsey, his dad Ed Hosch Jr, his brother Eddie (Melissa) Hosch, his niece Lexi, his nephew Joe, his dog India, his cat Freddie Mercury, his extended family and his countless friends. He is going to missed by so many people

David never let the hand he was dealt dictate his life and he lived his life to the fullest. He spent his childhood as a part of the Jr. Pioneers which led to a lifelong love of playing basketball including playing at the collegiate level at Oklahoma State University. He traveled all over the country and the world seeing whatever he could because it was there. He read all the time and was always learning something new and filling his head with so much “information” that he never lost a trivia game in his life. He will be remembered mostly for his sense of humor and quick wit.

The past few years David focused his passion, drive and desire into starting his own business in order to do all that he could to provide safe and happy rides to animals from all over the country. Some of these rides known as freedom rides led to numerous animals finding their “furever” homes. He worked closely with several rescue groups helping with whatever transport was needed. He loved every minute of his work.

David was preceded in death by his maternal and paternal grandparents.

Visitation will be held from 1 to 2 p.m. July 13, 2021 at the Amos Family Funeral Home. Followed by a memorial service at 2 p.m. also at the funeral home.
