David R. Ziemer, Sr.

David R. Ziemer, Sr., 74, Kansas City, Missouri, passed away Wednesday, June 20, 2012, at North Kansas City Hospital.

David was born February 15, 1938, in Wausau, Wisconsin, to Roy and Arlie Ziemer. He enjoyed dealing and manufacturing fire arms. David especially enjoyed drag boat racing. He had been a co-owner, starter and was past co-president of the CSDBA.

David was preceded in death by his parents. Survivors include his son, David R. Ziemer, Jr.; daughter, Dawn Spresser both of Lenexa, Kansas; two grandchildren and nine great grandchildren.

Visitation will be from 6:00-7:00 p.m., Tuesday, June 26, 2012, followed by funeral services at 7:00 pm at the Amos Family Funeral Home and Crematory.
