Deanna Sue Carlson

Deanna Sue (Bigelow) Carlson, 61, Overland Park, Kansas, passed away Monday, October 12, 2009 at her home.

Sue was born November 6, 1947 in Kansas City, Missouri to Wallis Howard and Myra Joyce (Lewis) Bigelow. She was a 1966 graduate of Westport High School. On September 2, 1967, Sue married Cameron Duane Carlson in Kansas City, Missouri. They were lifelong area residents.

Survivors include her husband, Cameron D. Carlson; daughter, Shanna L. Kinnison, her husband, Jason, Richmond, Missouri; son, Jeffrey Carlson, Prairie Village, Kansas; sister, Gloria J. Triplett, her husband, Virgil, Shawnee, Kansas; and two grandchildren, whom Sue devoted most of her time to, Colton James Carlson, Lawrence, Kansas and Grayson Guy Kinnison, Richmond, Missouri.

Visitation and Funeral Service

Friends may call from 6-8 pm Wednesday, October 14, 2009 at the chapel. Funeral services will be 10:00 am Thursday, October 15, 2009 at the Amos Family Chapel of Shawnee. Burial in the Floral Hills Memorial Gardens, Raytown, Missouri.
