Deborah "Debbie" McDonald (Stumpff), born on February 17, 1955, in Kansas City, MO, passed away on August 20, 2024, in Independence, MO. She was 69 years old. The cause of death is unknown.

Debbie's professional journey spanned several notable companies where she dedicated her time and efforts, including Peterson Manufacturing, Armour Foods, Guys Foods, and Rupert Manufacturing. She was known for her strong work ethic and commitment to her roles.

In her personal life, Debbie enjoyed a variety of hobbies that brought joy and relaxation. She had a passion for gardening, found pleasure in solving puzzles, and loved engaging in word search puzzles. These interests reflected her keen mind and creative spirit.

Debbie was an active member of the American Legion Auxiliary and participated in the color guard, contributing her time and energy to support veterans and their families.

She was preceded in death by her beloved parents, Irvin and Augusta Stumpff (Strobbe), and her siblings Freddy Stumpff, Juanita Lee, Dorothy Bain, Irene Henson, and Mary Bousfield.

Debbie is survived by her loving daughters Amber Toates (Nick Reynolds) and Aubrey Wilson (Rich). Her legacy lives on through her cherished grandchildren: granddaughters Alaynna and Alyvia Toates, and grandsons Richard and Logan Wilson and Jake Toates. Her family and friends will remember her as a devoted mother, grandmother, and friend whose love and kindness touched many lives.

Debbie's memory will be held dear by all who knew and loved her. She will be profoundly missed but forever remembered with great affection and respect. 

A graveside service will be held at 9:00 am, Tuesday, September 3, 2024 at Old Monticello, 73rd Terrace Shawnee, KS.
