Debra Ann Oliver

March 5, 1955 — January 8, 2022

My darling sweetheart, Debra Ann Oliver, went to be with her Lord and Savior on the 8th day of January 2022. She is in heaven with those she so dearly loved, her Mom (Dian Marie Carlisle Boydston) and Dad (Frank Eugene Myers), Grandma (Biggie) Imogene Myers, Sister Barbara Ann (Barbie) Gregg and Granddaughter Kayla Amador. Debra Ann (Deb or Debbie) Oliver is survived by her husband of 52 years, Ernest L Oliver Jr., her brother’s, Frank Myers, William Myers, and Kennith Gubera, and Sister’s Donna Griffin and Lori Boydston. Debbie was born on the 5th of March 1955 at Saint Mary’s Hospital in Kansas City, Missouri to Frank Eugene Myers and Dian Marie Carlisle. Deb married Ernest L (Bunk or Bunky) Oliver on the 27th of August 1969 in Belton, Missouri. They had 5 children that she loved with all her heart, Ernest Eugene (Olly) Oliver, Robert Lee (Bob) Oliver, Lisa Dian Rose Morataya, Cindy Lynn Oliver and Wendy Dawn Cobb. Her Grandchildren captured her heart and she so dearly loved them all, Summer, Michael, Sierra, Juliana, Ayden, Payton, Alyssa, Bobby, Brendan, Gaige, Lily, and Selvin.

As a Military Spouse, Deb, lived throughout the states making her family homes, in California, Kansas, Oklahoma, and Washington D.C. She traveled to Athens, Greece and raised her 5 children for 3 ½ years in a Foreign Country, no small feat. She traveled Europe and the Mediterranean seeing much of the world. She was a military dependent from the Vietnam War through the 1st Gulf War. Deb loved to travel. She loved visiting her friends and family. Every chance she got she went to the lake to play cards and be with her best friend, her sister Donna and brother-in-law Gary. She loved to go to Arizona and visit her Athens friends Robin and Jeanette Wright. Deb Loved Elvis, old Rock and Roll and anything John Wayne. Some of Deb’s favorite shows were, Mash, Andy Griffin, Star Trek, Outlander, and The Masked Singer. Her favorite Football Team was The Kansas City Chiefs, and she tolerated the Dallas Cowboys.

Deb lived life to its fullest. She was a loving Wife, Mother, Grandmother, Sister, and Aunt. Deb firmly believed that everything happens for a reason and that life and death are in God’s hands. She believed that although we don’t understand why things happen when they do and how, a greater good comes through believing in and trusting our Lord and Savior.
