Della Lee Sandgren, 81, Lawrence, Kansas, died Tuesday, August 9, 2016, in Johnson County, Kansas.

Born April 20, 1935, in Wyandotte County to CL and Mildred (Boose) Vaughn, Della was a former BMA employee, NAPA store owner and managed real estate after retirement. She enjoyed miniature doll houses and investing. She graduated from Washington High School in 1954 and married Albin Charles Sandgren on November 20, 1954, and is survived by him.

Also surviving are: one grandchild and her husband, Courtney and David Shipley; two great grandchildren, Constantine and Raven Shipley; sister Katherine Srader; one niece, four nephews, three great nieces and five great nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, her daughter, Eva Sandgren, and her two sisters; Wanda Flint and DeReva Johnson.

A Memorial Service will be held at 1:00 p.m., Monday, August 15, 2016, at the Amos Family Funeral Home, 10901 Johnson Drive, Shawnee, Kansas.
