Desiree Mckayla Heider

Desiree Heider, 56, passed away May 18th, 2018. She was born on October 26th, 1961 in Kansas City, MO to Ralph (Jim) and Kathryn Hinkle.  Desiree grew up in Shawnee, KS and went to school at Shawnee Mission Northwest graduating in 1979.  Thereafter went to K-State University for two years.  She later graduated with an Associate's Degree from Northeast Kansas Technical College.  Desiree worked in the legal field.  She was an avid reader and loved spending time with her family.   Desiree is survived by her son, Micah Heider; parents; sisters, Tammi Ball and Tyra Strandt; four nieces; one nephew; four great nieces and one great nephew.

Visitation is on Friday, May 25th from 5:00-7:00 PM at Amos Family Funeral Home, 10901 Johnson Dr., Shawnee, KS, 66203.  Burial is on Saturday, May 26th, at 12:00 PM at West Liberty Cemetery near Fulton, KS.
