Devika Aggarwal, 16, of Overland Park, KS passed away on Monday March 5, 2018 at her home.

Devika Aggarwal, daughter of Praveen Aggarwal and Alka Aggarwal was born January 25, 2002 in East Delhi, India. She loved her brother Neil Aggarwal the most in this world and would always buy gifts & toys for him. Her parents, family and friends called her "Devu".

Devu was a Junior at Blue Valley North High School , who wanted to help needy people by becoming a doctor. She was a helper and fond of doing her mom's nails. No words can describe Devika. She was sharp-witted, well-spoken. She was kind, compassionate, listening to all her friend's problems and responding with an uncharacteristically soft voice and an undoubtedly characteristic wide heart. She was brilliant, with a flare for academia. She was generous, a sister who loved her brother Neil through every stumble and pitfall. She was funny, passionate, clever, stubborn, wide-hearted, idealistic, easy-going. But above all, she was a wonderful, wonderful girl. And it is not the words that describe Devika that ensure she will be remembered, but her bright, lovely spirit that will remain in our hearts forever.

Devika joins her maternal grandparents in Heaven. She is survived by her loving parents, Praveen and Alka Aggarwal, her brother, Neil Aggarwal and many extended family members.

Visitation and Services

Funeral services will take place at the Amos Family Funeral Home located at 10901 Johnson Drive, Shawnee, KS. Visitation start at 3:00 p.m. Wednesday, March 7th followed by Services by Priest at 4:00 PM.
