Donald R. Hughes

Donald R. Hughes, 81, of Overland Park, KS, passed away, Sunday, June 4, 2017.

Donald was a US Army Veteran and worked as a bookbinder for two local printing companies.

He is survived by his wife of 58 years, Carol Hughes; a daughter, Karen Myers; a son, David Hughes; sisters, Mary Faulkner and Marie Dunlap; a brother, Steve Hughes and his four grandchildren, Elaine Myers, Raymond Myers, III, Zoe Ferris-Hughes, and Brigid Ferris-Hughes.

Visitation will begin at 10 a.m., Friday, June 9 with funeral services following at 11 a.m. at the First Southern Baptist Church of Overland Park.

Contributions may be made to the church, the Mutual Musician's Foundation, the KC Track Club, or the Alzheimer's Association.
