Donald T. Roberson

Donald T. Roberson, 84 years old, husband to his high school sweetheart, Shirely Stroman, for 66 years went to be with his Lord on May 7, 2020. Don was the son of O.C. and Juanita Roberson of San Angelo, Texas. Don leaves the legacy of his beloved family: a son, Mark and his wife Diana Roberson; two daughters, Jill Phillips and Donna and husband, Karl Ingraham. Don's quiver was full with ten grandchildren he adored: David, Randy, Donny, and Josh McKinney; Matthew and Jayde Roberson, Dan Roberson, Maria and Chris Williams, and Megan Roberson; Jessie and Spencer Brown and Jonah Ingraham. Don's bonus blessings were his great grandchildren who would light up his life as they entered the room: Nathan McKinney, Emerie and Willow McKinney, Luca Ingraham, Ava Williams, Scarlett Roberson, and two girls on the way, a Brown and a Williams. Don is also survived by a devoted younger sister, Mary Ann Roberson, and brother Bob Roberson and his wife Lucy.

Don had a very successful and satisfying career of 38 years with Yellow Freight System. The delight of his life was spending time with family and worshiping Jesus at home and at Legacy Christian Church. The family had a wonderful outpouring of love from Companions in Christ Sunday School class as they formed a caravan and drove around the home where the family had all gathered to honor and remember "Pa Pa"."Well Done… (Matthew 25:23) Don" was the sign in the front yard. There will be a full celebration of Don's life at Legacy Christian Church, Overland Park, when the church is opened to all who wish to celebrate with us.
