Dorothea J. Patrick passed away on Friday, April 10th. She was born on 10/6/27 and has been a long-time resident of Shawnee, KS. Dorothea was preceded in death by husband, John H. Patrick, Jr.; and daughter-in-law, Melissa Patrick. Survived by her twin sister, Dorris Givens; sons Michael (Becky) and Ron (Lori) Patrick; grandchildren David (Christina Lauderdale) Patrick, Lisa (Jeremy) Burch, John (Erin) Patrick, Kalie (Joe) Audas, Cameron Patrick; and 6 great-grandchildren. Dorothea had a 40 year career with Ted Manufacturing Corporation of Shawnee, KS and retired in 2001. She and her husband Johnny were avid KC Royals fans and season ticket holders for many years. Her family will remember her as a loving and generous woman who adored them all.

Services

A visitation will be held at The Amos Family Funeral Home in Shawnee, KS on Monday, April 13th from 6-8 p.m. Funeral services will be held at The Amos Family Funeral home on Tuesday, April 14th at 1 p.m. with burial at Pleasant View Cemetery in Shawnee, KS.
