Dorothy J. Blanton

Dorothy J. Blanton, 73, of Olathe, Kansas, passed away, Wednesday, January 20, 2010 at the home.

Dorothy was born in Kansas City, Kansas. She was a member of St. Paul's Catholic Church. She had been a manager at Southwestern Bell Telephone Company.

Her husband, Richard H. Blanton, died in 1991. She was also preceded in death by a daughter Donna Davidson, her granddaughter, Shonda Davidson, and her brother, Henry Ross Jr.

She is survived by a daughter, Connie Freeman and her husband Dewey, of Ava, Missouri; three sons, Richard Davidson and his wife, Cheri, Kansas City, Kansas, Ronald Davidson and his wife, Michele, Olathe, Kansas and Kevin Davidson and his wife, Amber, Olathe, Kansas; three sisters Mary Nigh, Shirley Castor, & Judy Vodopest; 6 grandchildren, Christopher, Julia, Stephen, Christian, Haley & Alexis Davidson.

Visitation and Funeral Service

The Mass of Christian Burial will be 10 a.m., Saturday, January 23, 2010 at St. Joseph Catholic Church with burial following at Resurrection Cemetery. Visitation will be 9 a.m., Saturday at the church.
