Dorothy Cassell, 80, of Shawnee, passed away Wednesday, October 29, 2014, at Shawnee Gardens. She was a proud mother and grandmother and enjoyed spending time with her family. She was preceded in death by many brothers and sisters, especially her inseparable friend/sister, Marilyn Velasquez. She is survived by her soul mate, Bud (William) Blattman; her ten children, Caroline Cook, Bob Chadwick, Larry Theis, Jr., Kathy Overhoff, Ralph Theis, Mark Theis, Tammy Mallett, Vicki Scheufele, Robin Stepina and Rebecka Sobba; 25 grandchildren, great children and great-great grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.
