Dorothy Ann Foltz, 82, was born on August 31, 1933, in Scipio, KS. She attended St. Boniface Grade School and Garnett High School. In 1954, she married her high school sweetheart, John Foltz. Dorothy's life was devoted to her family, ensuring they had good food and a welcoming, clean home. Being a wife, mother and grandmother were her badges of honor. Her grandchildren were the delight of her heart. Desiring to nurture close relationships, she attended their every sacrament, recital, baseball game and frequently checked on them after they left home. Dorothy volunteered in her parish caring for plants and decorating the sanctuary, serving in the library, Funeral Choir, and as Eucharistic Minister. She will also be remembered for her devotion to the Blessed Mother, her honesty, her love of dogs, birds, palm trees and beautiful flowers and, most fondly, for her delicious chocolate chip cookies.
Dorothy is survived by her husband of 61 years, John; a daughter, Cindy and her husband, Scott; three grandchildren, Hannah who is also their goddaughter, Audrianna and Joshua See. "Enjoy the little things in life because one day you`ll look back and realize they were the big things."
