Dorothy is preceded in death by her first husband, William H. Hanks in 1964.  She is also preceded in death by her son, William Hanks, Jr; her brothers, Joe, Matt, Tony Calovich, and sister, Helen Dragush.  In 2004, Dorothy was preceded in death by her second husband, John O'Toole.  She is survived by her children, David Hanks and wife Christine; daughter, Janet Ewing and husband Michael; sister, Catherine Hill; grandchildren, Jared Hanks, Rebecca Hanks and Erich Hanks.  The family wishes to thank the staff at Brookdale of Shawnee and Brookdale Hospice for the exceptional care they provided while Dorothy was in their care.
