Dorothy Riehle

July 3, 1927 — January 11, 2021

Dorothy Jean Malloy Riehle died in the early morning hours of Monday, January 11th, 2021. Dottie was born in Kansas City Kansas, and graduated from Bishop Ward High School with class of 1945. She married Leo on January 2nd, 1960 and they built an enduring marriage filled with joy that was a fine example to all that new them. Dot was a polio survivor, which helped her develop her signature can do attitude and also earned her a lifelong nickname of Squeak'. Dorothy was a loving, loyal and generous woman. Her greatest joy was raising their two sons David and Tom.

TIMES - Always with her (Beta Sigma Phi) sorority sisters and their families.

SHARING - Time with her Santa Marta family

SPORT - Football; biggest thrill Superbowl win of 2020 (Go Chiefs)!

JOB - TWA; because of the perk, she loved to travel.

Dottie is preceded in death by husband Leo and son David. Survived by son Tom, his wife Traci and their son Jontae of Nebraska. Also, her sister Margaret (Deane) Schenk of Toledo OH, and many nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews.

Dorothy was a loving mother to all children not just her own! To know her was a privilege, she will be missed.
