Dorothy Lea Rutledge

Dorothy Lea Rutledge, 92, passed from this life to her eternal home Sunday, Dec. 13, 2015. Born March 17, 1923, to Rosa May and Jason Luckey, Osceola, MO. A proud graduate of Osceola High School, she recently attended her 75th class reunion. Dorothy was preceded in death by her husband of 51 years, Fred, and her 8 siblings. She is survived by 3 daughters, Kathy DeMasters (Steve) of Sedalia, MO; Shirley Bates (Phil) of Overland Park, KS; and Rachel Asbell (Bob) of Lenexa, KS; 8 grandchildren, 8 great-grandchildren, 1 great-great-granddaughter, and many nieces and nephews. She was a member of Overland Park Assembly of God Church.

Visitation will be 10 a.m. Saturday, Dec. 19, followed by funeral services at 11 a.m. at the Amos Family Funeral Home. Burial in Johnson County Memorial Gardens.

The family suggests contributions to O.P. Assembly of God Church.
