Dorothy Trese Goeser Bray Weinhold

Dorothy Tresa Goeser Bray Weinhold, 96, died Thursday, August 9, 2012. Dorothy was born January 14, 1916, in Westphalia, Iowa, to Quiren Edward and Magdalena (Schneider) Goeser. She was a meat wrapper for Safeway Supermarket for many years, retiring in 1967. Dorothy was a member of Immaculate Conception Cathedral in Kansas City, Missouri. Dorothy was preceded in death by her husbands, John Bray in 1982 and Harry Weinhold in 1995, and two grandsons, Timothy Bray in 2007 and Todd Bray in 2012.

Dorothy is survived by her three sons, Robert Bray and wife, Kathleen, Lenexa, Kansas, Ed Bray and wife, Marie, Olathe, Kansas and Tom Bray and wife, Sue, Overland Park, Kansas; three daughters, Dorothy Eller, Sacramento, California, Mary Grimitt and husband, Richard, Omaha, Nebraska, and Geralyn Bray, Lenexa, Kansas; two sisters, Irma Goeser, Fort Dodge, Iowa, and Della Kenkel, Johnston, Iowa; 24 grandchildren and 34 great grandchildren.

Mass of Christian Burial will be 11:00 a.m., Friday, August 17, 2012, at Prince of Peace Catholic Church, 16000 West 143rd Street, Olathe, Kansas. Visitation will be 10-11 a.m., Friday at the church. Inurnment will be 11:00 a.m., Saturday, August 18, 2012, in the Cedar Lawn Cemetery, Council Bluffs, Iowa.
