Douglas Jacob Loganbill

Douglas Jacob Loganbill, 94, Overland Park, KS went to his Heavenly home Friday, July 13, 2018 at Heritage of Overland Park, KS.

Doug was born Feb. 14, 1924 in Lovedale, MN to Robert and Anna Loganbill. He was a veteran of the US Navy during WWII. In December 1947, Doug married Claudene Gibson in Marshall, MO. Doug and Claudene moved to Shawnee, KS where they raised their family.  He was a clerk for the Rock Island Railroad for 42 years, retiring in 1986.   Doug was a devoted husband, father, and PaPa and was loved by everyone who met him.

Doug was preceded in death by his wife, Claudene in 2006, and three sisters. Survivors include his three daughters, Vickie Loganbill, Debra (Dennis) Banka all of Overland Park, KS and Claudia Booker, Olathe, KS; four grandchildren, Sarah Granger, Jacob Booker, Chad Banka, and Clayton Banka; and four great grandchildren, Olivia, Carson, Henry, and Corbin.

Visitation will be 1-2:00 p.m. followed by a service at 2:00 p.m. Thursday, July 19 at the Amos Family Funeral Home; burial in Shawnee Mission Memory Gardens.
