LeRoy Bayless, 74, of Overland Park, Kansas, passed to his maker on March 30, 2016, at St. Luke's South Medical Center.

LeRoy was born March 29, 1942, in Auburn, Kansas, to Elwyn and Levaun Bayless whom preceded him in death. LeRoy was a skilled handy man for many years after retiring as an electrician with the phone company.

LeRoy is survived by his children, Steve Bayless, Jeff Bayless, Richard Woodworth, Melodie Hughes. He is also survived by sisters, Karla Irwin and Kate Kirksey; 11 grandchildren and 7 great-grandchildren. LeRoy was preceded in death by his wife Sharon, daughter, Lisa Bayless, son, Troy Bayless, sisters, Darlene Francis, Betty Buckhalter, Dodi Bayless; and brother, Rick Bayless.

Visitation and Memorial Service

A Visitation is set for 2:00 ~ 3:00 PM, Sunday, with a Memorial Service starting at 3:00PM April 3, 2016, at Amos Family Funeral Home 10901 Johnson Drive Shawnee, Kansas 66203, with a Reception immediately following at the Rosedale Masonic Lodge.
