E. Eugene “Gene” Stinebaugh

Gene Stinebaugh, 86, of Leawood, Kansas, went to be with his Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ on May 9, 2011.

Gene was born May 15, 1924, in Princeton, Kansas, to Elmer E. and Ava (Morris) Stinebaugh.

He is survived by his wife of 56 years, A. Mabel Stinebaugh; daughters, Lois (Al) Heger and Lisa (Stephen) Thomas; granddaughters, Elisabeth Heger, Debby Heger, and Kelsie Thomas. He is also survived by four siblings and families.

Visitation and Funeral Service

A visitation will be held from 6:00-8:00 p.m., Thursday, May 12, 2011, at the Bible Chapel of Shawnee, 12230 W. 75th Street, Shawnee, Kansas. The funeral service will be 2 pm, Friday, May 13, 2011, also at the church. Burial will be in Corinth Cemetery.
