Earl Kenneth "Kenny" Wilson, Branson West, Missouri, was born September 1, 1936 in Independence, Kansas and passed away Friday, March 20, 2009, in his home, at the age of 72.
Kenny was raised in Chanute, Kansas and lived in the Kansas City area most of his life where he worked for BNSF for 40 years. After retiring in 1998, Kenny and his wife, Wanda moved to Branson West. He served honorably for two years in the U.S. Marine Corp.
Kenny was preceded in death by his son, Mark Allen Wilson and his parents.
Survivors include: his wife, Wanda; daughter, Cynthia Stallman; daughter-in-law, Betty Wilson; grandchildren: Jake Stallman, Michael & Sarah Wilson, Ryan & Tyler Lynnes; one great grandchild, Kaeli Lynnes; brother, Robert D. Wilson and his wife Neva; sister Betty Buckner; stepson, Andy Riley; step-daughter, Terri Lynnes; 3 step-grandchildren; 2 step- great-grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society or Skaggs Hospice, P.O. Box 650, Branson, MO 65615.
Memorial Services
A Memorial service will be 7:00 p.m. Thursday, March 26, at the Amos Family Chapel of Shawnee. Friends may call from 6-7:00 p.m. Thursday at the chapel.
