Ed Collins

Ed Collins (Edwin) passed away peacefully at his home on February 7, 2024. He was born on October 2, 1955 in Topeka, Kansas to Homer M. Collins and Roma Joy Collins (Hansen) who precede him in death. Ed married Paula Collins (Graham) on November 22, 1978. Ed and Paula were proud parents to Christine Jones (Collins) and Catelyn Holmes (Collins). He is survived by wife Paula; Christine and husband Brandon Jones; Catelyn and husband Eliot Holmes; grandchildren Wyatt Jones (6) and Elizabeth Holmes (3); and siblings Vicki Collins, Susan Collins, and Dave Collins.

Ed lit up a room. He loved to attend concerts, sporting events, and spent decades of summers out on the lake. Ed would help anyone, with anything, at any time. He spent many years caregiving for his wife. He loved his grandchildren, children, and family with his whole heart. The last few years of his life, he was delighted to spend his time as Papa Ed to his adoring grandchildren. His children will forever cherish him.
