Edeltrud “Trudy” M. Nickel

Edeltrud "Trudy" Nickel, 97, passed away on November 8, 2017. Trudy was born June 11, 1920 in Alteichenau, Germany to Paul and Agnes Nickel. Trudy is survived by her children: Gudrun (Robert Robinson) Nickel, Lucia (Allen) Davis, Ursula Pearson, Henry Nickel and Paul (Cindy) Nickel, brother Norbert Nickel, nine grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren. Trudy was preceded in death by her husband Herbert, parents, sister Luzia Starost and son-in-law Stanley Pearson.

Visitation will follow the 9:30 AM Rosary on Tuesday, November 14, 2017 at St. Joseph Catholic Church, temporarily located at the old St. Joseph High School Gym, 11525 Johnson Drive, Shawnee, Kansas 66203. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11:00 AM. Burial will be at St. Joseph Catholic Cemetery in Shawnee, Kansas.
